Memory Verse:
Being an employer is one of the greatest responsibilities anyone can come to in the job market; it puts you at the highest echelon of power, right next to the government, serving the people. It takes ambition and faith to realise the dream of being an employer and one must make full proof of it as Paul said to the Thessalonian church in 1 Thessalonians 4:11 TPT ; “Aspire to lead a calm and peaceful life as you mind your own business and earn your living, just as we’ve taught you.”
As is true in all things, one must be led into the business world by the Holy Spirit, through the word, prayer and also thanks giving to make a difference among all the others in the world. It takes much more than loving a subject to bring people into it, you must become a leader in every sense of it, solving problems because your responsibilities will be akin to those of our Lord Jesus Christ who expected his disciples to grow even bigger than Himself. He said to them, “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.”_ John 14:12-13 NLT.
If you have served your employer or trainer well, you will have all the resources you need to succeed at yours. Promotion comes from being conscientious more than it does from just loving a subject or the money that can come from it and faithfulness is the key to having our prayers answered.
One question that should fill our minds also is what Jesus asked in the story of the shrewd manager, “And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?” Luke 16:12 NKJV. For a business to surpass a generation, faithfulness in the care of its workers, just like your children, must never be taken for granted.
