Text:
Memory Verse:
The meek are humble, submissive, and grateful for their possession as they reason from the point of view of mercy. They are not proud of what they have or can do. Meekness in humility at all times will lead us to appreciate Him, trust His will, and give Him the glory, rather than exalt self.
The greatest in the kingdom, is the one who is humble like a little child: for a child is totally dependent on his parents. A child receives what he needs from his parents, they provide his food, dress him, when in pain, he calls on them and he lives in the consciousness that they are always there to meet his needs and will not stop going back to them for every need of his.
Therefore, meekness is that that leads us to humbly admit our need for God at all times.
